Palm Beach Gardens Council Member

The Palm Beach Gator Snow Ski Club is a group of active, fun-loving, sports-minded people who live in sunny South Florida (mainly Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast), but also share a love for winter activities. Our founding fathers adopted the alligator logo because of its association with South Florida. They did not intend to emulate any University or College.

Message from the President
Hello Gators,

As we start the summer, we now have transitioned into our New Board. I want to thank all of you who have donated time and effort over the past year.  We have a few new faces to our board of directors and we are still looking for volunteers.  Without the volunteers this club would not thrive.

Our ski trips are now on sale online as of June 1, 2022.  Check the trips out on the website, even if a trip is sold out, put your name on the wait list.

Besides the happy hours every Friday, we have full moon meetups, bike rides, axe throwing and other outdoor activities. Join the fun!

The volunteers on our Social and Special Activities Committee meeting are working hard to bring you enjoyable parties, events and trips this year. If you have an idea for an event, please bring it to the committee. If you would like to get more involved, please join the committee, volunteer to lead an event or trip, or offer to assist other officers. We are looking for volunteers to help us with our events, we will be having a  social/special activity meeting this summer.  With your help we can make your Club even better.

If you have time, please volunteer to be on the board, we have openings. These positions can be rewarding and a great way to meet some new friends and help the club.  Please let me know if you are interested in joining the board as we have our next meeting on June 7, 2022 where we will attempt to fill some of these open positions.

Thank you, for the opportunity to serve you again this next year!

Sincerely,
Kelly Lunsford

Message from VP Ski Trips, Carol Pattison

Hi Gator Skiers and Non-Skiers, I want to thank you for your support and confidence in electing me your VP Ski Trips. I am looking forward to the coming year and am sure we will have a great ski season. The last few years have been difficult with Covid and cancellations but let's keep our thoughts positive for a less stressful season. I want to let you know I am available to all of you to answer your questions and hopefully solve your problems. That may not always be possible, but I will make every effort to come to successful solutions.

O ur lineup for the 2023 Ski Season is as follows:

And to my trip leaders, I am here for you and will be available for your questions and anything you need help with. I promise to answer your emails as soon as possible and get you the answers you need for the trips. I know you all want to do the best you can for your trip participants and make your trip a memorable event.

While we are just beginning our 2023 trip schedule, I will be considering the 2024 schedule of trips. I would like to have your input on destinations you would like to visit. It is necessary to plan trips at least a year in advance to be able to secure contracts and space at the resorts. Another consideration is the Ikon and Epic Passes for lift tickets. Many Epic Pass locations are not offering group lift tickets but will offer daily Epic Passes.

Feel free to contact me with your questions and ski trip suggestions. I look forward to hearing from you.

cpattiso@aol.com or 772-323-0315

Thank you again for your support and skiing ideas, which make our Ski Trip Program the best.
